Notes: Woke early again and started the day. Fed/walked the dogs and had coffee. Was supp to rain much of the day so waited a bit on moving the car in until mid morning. Was a day of getting some things done; put the marinating skirt steak in the Instant Pot on slow cooker, several loads of laundry, ran the dishwasher, gave both dogs a bath. Called Mom late morning and chatted for a bit. Sat out back - mix of clouds and sun ... and just plain hot in the beating sun. Walked the dogs then to mailbox early afternoon. Prepped the rest of the potatoes and added mushrooms to the beef in the crock pot, also cut the pkg of broccoli to steam. Fed the dogs just before 4p and walked them again. Saw a couple of the bright blue birds out back and got a pic as one took off from the ground - they're so pretty! I think they may be Eastern Bluebirds w/ the brown breast like a robin?? Ate my meal then, quite good. Later shower, drizzle w/ /thunder and lightning finally started around 730p. Did another load of towels in the evening. Started using the stinky cream on both rash areas again as they just seem to hang on - and underarms appears to be getting worse again. Huge booming thunderstorms in the evening w/ crazy lightning. George didn't notice at all (no surprise) but Dot was a quivering, panting mess ... all over me and then climbed up the back of the couch. I held her as much as I could and somehow got them out to pee before bed in a rain break. Big cracks and rolling rumbles continued and then the power went out for a few min, thankfully came back on pretty quickly.
