Pretty little coves

A showery and windy day so we had a slow start at the cottage. It was so nice to be in a really comfortable bed after a week in the van.
We explored the beach from our cottage in the morning, met an old guy on the beach that had lots to tell us about the island. Apparently they’re advertising for a head teacher at the school he said, would we be tempted? No I don’t think so. It’s a beautiful place but I imagine very different in the long, dark winters.
Andrew & the kids settled down with a film in the afternoon so I took the opportunity to explore a bit more on my trip to the shop for some supplies. There as just so many little gems like this around every corner!
In the evening we had Rebecca, Michael & the kids over for dinner (extra) and the girls stayed for a ‘sleepover’ as it was a bit wild pit for camping tonight.
