Another regular

I can take no credit for this beautiful plant. I inherited it. I’ve cut it back every year, and, beautifully and stubbornly, it’s reappeared in style.

Not the magnificent heatwave but still nice enough to sit and read outside.

We haven’t had enough of the promised rain. I’ve done a bit of the cleaning that I promised I’d get on with. Yes, I’m behind with chores (but I’m not complaining.)

Even the birds see me as part of the furniture. (Extra) This cheeky sparrow is getting on with enjoying the peanuts etc that have fallen from the feeder, and getting very close to me and the camera.
