Buffet Breakfast, Barrio Gótico, Jazz, Indian Food

Undercovercairo’s first full day and we had a relaxed buffet breakfast at home, then a bus into the centre, walk around the Barrio Gótico (Pasaje de La Paz, first pic) and some celebration bubbly on a terrace overlooking Port d’Angel to mark her passing her recent coaching exam. Bb arrived from Austria and joined us in the late afternoon for a walk and a drink inside Glaciar - just a little bit too cold to sit outside. We wanted to share the Jamboree jazz experience so we got some tickets to a jazz concert for a John Coltrane tribute - wonderful show! A few selfies were taken in Plaza Real and then we went to Rasoi for an Indian dinner - thanks Bb! Lovely day!

Today would have been my dad’s 90th birthday. He loved jazz and would have enjoyed the concert.
