Magic aurora

Saving the best till last, I have finally caught up on my blip marathon!
I vow never to get this far behind again, I really want to keep going with blip but it’s just been such a busy time. Apologies I haven’t really had time to catch up on anyone else’s journals either.

This was such a surreal and magical moment on Tiree. We went to put the bins out at the cottage and the next door neighbour alerted us to the aurora. You could see it with the naked eye but, as you would expect, it was incredible through the camera lens!
It was bitterly cold out with the wind chill but I was not going to miss this opportunity. I was in and out for quite a while before finally getting to bed around 2am. Well worth being tired the next day and travelling this far North.
