Singing in the Rain
Although I just posted a pair of Gray Catbirds a few days ago, this was too good to pass up today. The rain had just started when these two perched in front of me and started muttering to each other - singing, in catbird fashion. Which made me think of that old song "singing in the rain".
We had some rain and thunderstorms overnight but it was dry when I got up this morning. By the time I had finished a nice FT chat with my parents, the rain was making its appearance. And so were the catbirds so it all worked out.
Heard a Wood Thrush singing this morning - a haunting, etherial song that is my favorite.
I've got my image count from yesterday to about 350 and still doing some sorting. I'm very pleased for the most part and eager to have another go at it this weekend.
Hubs is still ailing although I think he has probably turned the corner. He prefers to be left alone with he's feeling poorly so other than making sure he's eating and drinking, I just let him stay in his cave. When he got up to take a shower, I quickly changed the sheets.
Can't believe it's already May.
