Faded glory ....

Our tulip has definitely seen better days but I have enjoyed the splash of colour it has provided since we came back from holiday. 

T has been busy this week (in between games of golf) with organising the garage. This has included moving tools and other items from the scullery to the garage, this was then replaced by "stuff" from the kitchen which meant T could remove the upper cabinets beside the boiler, which needs to moved. This now means we can get people in to look at the options for the aforementioned repositioning. Once we know were this will be, we can revisit kitchen planning in earnest and once it has been moved we can actually start work.  It will take a while (for a while read months) but it is at least a start and  in the meantime we can start experimenting with different layouts.  

We are also taking the opportunity to have a good clear out - there are a couple of Thrift Shops coming up and we will hand  in things which we don't need/want but which are in a decent condition to these, recycle what we can and dispose of the rest.

T also took all our wedding crystal out of the boxes so we can start using it  and enjoying it a more regular basis rather than saving it !
