Ox Eye

Another cracker of a day and we decided to brave a swim. Oh boy - you may have heard the shrieks. It really is very very cold but sort of exhilarating. We walked back by the field and I was thrilled to see the daisies emerging .

The rest of the day was spent in the garden, alternately working or flopping by the pond. Or both - as I was actually trying to cut back sallies/willows that are encroaching into the water - though it's not always clear what is water and what is land. I felt a bit guilty about the discarded sallieas and thought I should have done something creative and/or sustainable and whipped up a basket or a a willow arch. I didn't.

We watched the most gorgeous programme last night : Kerry: Tides of Time I don't know if you can watch it world-wide but if you need an hour of sheer gorgeousness and sensible commentary, then immerse yourselves.  Stunning photography.
