Best buddies

Bonnie is so happy to be home! She has checked all her favourite places, been into next door to steal stuff, and had a lovely play with Izzy. I think they are friends now!
I did some weeding in the border, although the ground is so dry it really needs a good watering. My special peony has a lovely large flower bud but I’m terrified it will get broken, or too dry, before it has a chance to open. It’s had water and a stake so should be ok…
There’s plenty of rose buds, although no flowers yet. 
And we ate some fresh salad leaves this evening, delicious!
