Growing up

A young Blue Tit growing into an adult. The yellow cheek feathers it was born with are being replaced by white and the black bar round its eye is becoming more defined. The blue on its cap can be seen to be coming through as well. We have so many young birds around at the moment. They are always hungry, but I suppose that’s true of growing humans as well.
