Boggy

A beautiful bright day. I set off with the intention of walking round the island, but failed miserably! It was very boggy and I chose a line that took me further in to it rather than away, as the earth literally moved beneath me I managed to scramble to safety! Stuck closer to the shoreline before coming to a brick wall with barbed wire. I couldn’t find any way of crossing it without swimming! Decided that it was not my day for walking so headed back and enjoyed the day sitting in the sun with a book, listening to birds and the sea. Much safer!
