Sea kayaking

A lovely walk today sticking to what I think is pretty much the only road on the island today- felt much safer than yesterday. Really struck by the preponderance of birdsong song. The Merlin app and I between us heard/saw not far off 30 varieties including skylarks and a cuckoo. Really beautiful - walking to the accompaniment of their music. I saw a hare sitting on the road, too slow to get a photo sadly, but enjoyed meeting him on my way!
