Alnwick Gardens

Historically, we visit this area earlier or later in the year. Seeing Alnwick Gardens in May with all the new growth and spring colour was a real treat.

We just missed the cherry blossom wood, but there was still a bit of colour on the trees. The wood is also awash with tree swings. In blossom, it will be breathtaking.

The water area still held interest for my babies, and I enjoyed trying to capture this whirlpool. Another in extras.

A Sunday lunch in the Joiners and home for games. It's tricky for Yuri as she doesn't know a lot of the British references, but a pack of cards always translates.
