VE80 Flypast over Hackney.

On this auspicious day our youngest, who lives in Hackney, sent us this. Our local grandson also captured one of the planes from the parade circling over Cheltenham on its way home to Brize Norton. It was a surprisingly cool day. But a very important commemoration. T’s father was in a Japanese concentration camp until September 1945. VE Day was no comfort to T’s grandparents.
