Gotcha Day!

Eleven years ago today, Archie came to live with us! And he's ruled our lives ever since. He's been a marvellous wee companion, albeit with some regrettable quirks - notably, that he gets car sick. The vet said he'd grow out of it...

I've spent much of the morning watching the VE Day celebrations in London - I love military parades, bands, horses, the Royals... I especially enjoyed the interviews with veterans.

Archie and I did have a couple of walks out, staying on the sunny side of the road - it was very cold in the shade! But it came right this evening, when we had our tea outside.

JR went to the supermarket, and then we all had a wander down the sunny side of the road to Toast. All seats were taken outside (anyway, I'd forgotten my sunnies), so we had a coffee inside, and then they went a further walk while I came home and sat in the back garden, in a patch of grass not shaded by the whopping big pine tree a few gardens away...
