Apologies for the lousy image, and more importantly the processing.  I have no idea why I am so tired but I can barely put one foot in front of the other and that’s after having a couple of hours snooze time this afternoon.

I did watch a bit of the VE Day celebrations and I am in awe of the surviving veterans and their stories.  I also smiled when Prince Louis brushed some specks of dandruff dust from his dad’s uniform.

I always remembered this jug sitting in a bowl on one of the bedroom washstands at gran’s in Redruth and it brings back happy memories .
