Rain? What rain?

There was a very gentle shower at home today, but no evidence in the new rain guage (see extra).

Meanwhile, the clematis behind the shed is flowering, with evidence of many flowers to come. Meanwhile moving clockwise, the clematis/potato combo continues for another year - I may just leave them to act as a sunshade for the clematis roots this year.

This evening I have added the first layer of comfrey to the compost bin, making sure there is plenty left in flower for the bees.

The final 2 are for progress checks: the strip behind the picking border, which is slowly filling up with stuff I don't know where to put as I clear the old polytunnel site, and the picking border taken from the same direction. Didn't manage to clear any more of that today, but there will be more time to do that another day.
