O caminho das estrelas!

It was a  beautiful morning as we departed Arcade, walking  about one km along the riverside path to meet the Camino at the medieval bridge that crosses the River Verdugo into Ponte Sampayo. My blip shows the medieval bridge plus a new sculpture entitled " O Caminho das Estrelas " which I think means " the path to the stars".
For much of the day we walked on ancient stone paved roads through forest and  countryside, past small cultivated fields and vineyards ( see second extra) and beside streams. The final few km into Pontevedra were  spent on the shady, winding path beside the beautifully clear River Tomeza. 
Altogether, the route was about 13.5km.
Along the way we came across a man playing the traditional Galician pipes. (See first extra)
