Blue Things

These lovely irises grow in a bed against the house and are shining in a spell of sunlight. It's been a nice day but very cold.

Our neighbour has a lovely blue ceanothus which looks over the fence at us and it reminded me that we had a huge one that covered the wall behind those irises. Sadly, it was killed by a honey fungus some years ago.
