End of WW2

In the most beautiful month of the year. I wonder whether the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium still mark this day with a three minutes silence all over the country? As they did when I lived there as a kid? 1954?

Here nobody talks about those wars much although our government does everything to recreate 1933 in Germany.
