Dog Eared Singular

Todays's image was another in my top of our back garden series. This poor little chap, who has seen much better days, he's covered in rust and has lost an ear, was uncovered after another family member whom I call the GHD (Great Horticultural Destroyer) had made another attempt at gardening - which always seems to involve slashing and hacking at anything remotely green that grows (apart from the expanses of brambles that we have in other areas of the garden!) but the very faint silver lining was that it allowed me to get my shot for the day! :-)
In fact it was only after looking more closely at him that I realised that he was the subject of one of my very first few blip images over 5 years ago! Therefore, I thought he deserved a more dramatic portrait - so I went for 'moody' black and white, used an off-kilter angle and added a bit of flash to make him stand out against the dark background!
