Red-footed Falcon

Continuing on the birding theme, a Red-footed Falcon appeared on the Lizard yesterday and with reports of it still there this morning, I headed off to try and see it.
Typically when I arrived it had last been seen about thirty minutes ago and the other birders present had wandered off. One more birder appeared and then after about an hour so did the bird and flew over us.  It then played cat and mouse for a while and with the heat haze increasing, I made the run home.
