Inland Cornwall
A walk inland from Penberth today revealed a different side to Cornwall. Nothing spectacular just reallt attractive rural scenery.
The flower here is called Whistling Jack, a cutting flower and form of galdioli that has now escaped and is wild in Cornwall. Allegedly the name derives from the fact that children put the leaves between their thumbs and blew to make them whistle.
