Pretty in Pink

Another one of those "I'm not sure what I have achieved days"! But i have done 2 loads of washing, surprisingly it has dried and it's all ironed. Hurray (including bedlinen from cousin's bed). I have chased various paperwork and been to Waitrose in Dorking to return a water filter (Penny found the same item £7 cheaper in Sainos. No matter. I also went to Wickes (en route home from Waitrose) and picked up 3 sheets of insulation board (for the door to the loft and door to the eaves storage. worryingly the floor to the summerhouse shed has somehow "de tongue and grooved". Not sure how to sort this - will have to talk to Handyman Dave I fear. Now I've lit the fire and am hunkering down.
