Spring?

The hot weather has passed so I am unsure what season we are in now. Clues anyone? Today has been lovely weather (2 loads of washing, washed, dried and ironed) but cold. I saw the physio first thing - useful. He thinks i may have arthritis in my neck - great. :( I have ticked off 7 things on my "to do" list so I guess I should count that as a result. 5 things not achieved here! never mind. (2 I tried to sort but no response to my phone call) 
This by the way, is an early rose in my garden. 
I've had a "pot luck" dinner. I think you would call it that. I found a bag of stir fry veg plus 2 slices of (vintage) bacon, a slice of ham and some rice. And..... sorry... a G&T. I have the wood burning stove on and the room is cozy. So all things considered, it could be considerably worse!
