Wanderings and meanders

Rosslyn Chapel

Roslin

Last time I was in the chapel I'm pretty sure it had a superstructure to protect it from the rain, and there was no visitor centre. M took me. Pretty sure it was just the two of us, not sure where we could have been. I remember it being really dark and cold. Today it was bright and really warm.

S had never been so it was all new to him. The no photography inside rule was respected and meant that everyone was looking at the carvings and paying more attention in the small spaces. It was busy, but not too packed. There was a really good talk from one of the guides as well.

We then went down into the glen where we met some locals, including a young boy who wanted to learn to skim stones.

Headed away early afternoon and stopped in to visit M. Walked in the garden, enjoying the clematis.
