Wild Garlic in the Woodland

A very cold start to the day, but no frost. A Bank Holiday, so a nice relaxed breakfast. Then a wee daunder around the park, incredibly chilly. In the woods, the last of the woodland floor plants has made an appearance. There is jus enough sunlight fo rthe plants to thrive before the tree canopy blocks out most of the light. Nice to get home and warm up with a cup of coffee.

After lunch, we go to Straiton as I have to return some trousers, and partner want to look at some household items and also visit Ikea for a new cabinet for the kitchen. Apart from the household items, it is a succeesful trip, which warrants a trip to the Ikea café for coffee and a wee bite to eat. It is sunny, so we don't need coats fo the trip home, fortunately I have my rucksack and we don't have to carry them. Intsead I am carryinig the lightweight items partner bought from Ikea.
