Show Champion!

Tonight the Stonehouse Dog Training Club hosted a 'Novelty Fun Show'. It's a dog show with a bit of fun thrown in.
Ziggy just made me so proud, he excelled himself with 2 first's and a 4th position.
First in 'Best Veteran' (Dogs over 7 years old) and also in 'Best Walk, Turn and Recall. The other dogs all moved before being 'Recalled' to their owner. Ziggy stayed dead still, in a sit position, until I called him. I left him for about 8 seconds before calling him, he made me so proud.
He also got the big rosette for Best Veteran in Show.
I took loads of photos, and so did the club secretary but I won't get them for a couple, or a few, days yet.

I took the extra after he got his first red rosette (first place) for Best Veteran.
He didn't actually get Best in Show, that went to a very handsome black Labrador but there was some very stiff competition for that award.

Best Long Coat
Best Short Coat
Best Most Appealing Eyes
Best Walk, Turn Rounds, Recall

Best Condition Dog
Best Condition Bitch
Best Not Having Won a 1st prior to tonight
Best in Show (all 1st place winners)
No dogs or handlers that show at Open or Championship Breed Shows are eligible to enter - After all, it is a fun night, not really a competition.
