HDD Rig

Little Man had his first day back at nursery, but he didn't make it through the morning and I had to go and collect him. He was very tired (I have no idea why). It did mean that my plans for the day had to be rearranged. I'd planned to do the housework whilst he was away, but once he was home, I put him in front of my laptop and cracked on with cleaning, and the other things I needed to do.

We saw a Horizontal Directional Drilling HDD Rig being driven past. It's used to lay pipes and cables, which is happening in a field nearby. So it was unloaded just down the road, and driven past, with the use of a remote controller. Little Man was thrilled to see it and we went out front to watch it go past. It wasn't going faster than walking pace. It caused a slight traffic jam, as our road isn't wider than an average single lane road, so it can be tricky getting past the lorries and the tractors that frequently use our road.
