About Time

It's been a busy day. We had Laura and her youngest son come round for a drink and a much needed haircut for Little Man. He's looking considerably tidier.

We then got the bus to Woerden. I'd organised a food delivery for this afternoon, but I'd typically gone and forgotten to add a couple of things to the shop. I also wanted to see if I could sell my old phone. I did think about selling it online but didn't really want to wait ages for it to actually sell. I honestly didn't want it taking up space in a drawer.

We got home and spent some time just hanging out. Little Man and i also started mowing the lawn. Marije, a friend from church, has leant me her lawn mower and a rake. The grass was in need of cutting. We spent about an hour doing the garden before Little Man had a bath. We had dinner together, then my boy went to bed and I returned to mowing the lawn. I now have blisters forming on my hands from the lawn mower.

I was supposed to go to life group tonight, but didn't have a lift. I had asked in my group but no body offered to come past. Just before I got Little Man into the bath, I let my life group leader know that I didn't have a lift (someone was supposedly going to do this, but hadn't been in contact).

It's been a very long day and I need time alone. Little Man's still not totally himself, a tad tired and grumpy. A close friend of mine said that he might be going through a growth spurt.
