One leg
This Silver Gull, photographed at Woolgoolga Headland this morning, has 2 legs, it just chose to balance on one of them for my photograph. I wonder why many birds do this?
In the background, with the lighthouse, is South Solitary Island, one of five 'Solitary Islands' named and mapped by Captain Cook in May 1770.
