Lion dancing

Very lucky to be in town to see the flower show and the lion dancing which was all happening on the road outside our hotel. Spent a few hours going up and down the street watching the various shows and looking at the colourful flower displays.
After that we took the train to Matsumoto to see the castle one of the large original castles. Magnificent gardens and moats, the queue however to get into the castle was a 2 hour wait, so we decided to give it a miss. A nice wander around the area before heading back to Nagano.
