A Fun Trophy!

Last night we had the last of our main camera club meetings for this season: we now have a break until September, although in 3 weeks' time our "Summer School" starts where we provide practical training on various topics for those who wish to attend. Pet photography is one of the topics which members have requested this year, and one of our members is an ace at this so she'll be taking an active role. We don't have a pet ourselves here but our Newcastle-based family have 2 cats so they'll be a challenge for me - and maybe I'll be better able to take photos of Granddog Oona next time we visit the Toronto family!

Anyway we had a buffet meal, followed by our Presentation Evening. I didn't have many accolades myself this year but I did receive this fun trophy for my 1st place in our recent Triptych Competition (see the extra here). It's a trophy which the club has owned for many years, but it was recently repurposed as "The Terri Henderson Trophy" to commemorate our late membership secretary who helped to run the club for over 25 years (so mostly well before my time in the club, but her time in office did overlap with my membership for a few years).
