I was out early to the local shops and wandered the streets first hoping for a blip. The light never seemed to be in the right place.

Later in the morning I drove to Grasmere, expecting to return home having been unable to find a parking spot. I was amazed that there were a few spaces in the first roadside parking area I came to.

I wandered through the woodland and took lots of photos but none stood out as a blip. Some are in the extra. Instead I chose a view to Helm Crag.

I did notice that among all the native wild bluebells there were a few of the Spanish variety.
