WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Teeny Tiny Daffodils

All the other daffodils are finished now but these started flowering a few days ago. The flowers are about the size of a 10p I’ve never seen any so small, much smaller than Tête-à-tête.
I was waiting for my new lino print ink as I wanted to print two recent ones I carved but the parcel didn’t arrive until late afternoon and I was too tired by then. There’s always tomorrow. I did some sketching instead.
I tidied a bit in the garden, chopping back the masses of cuckoo flowers.
I do love them but they certainly spread.
A new cafe has opened in our village this week called Sip and Savour. I haven’t been in yet but those who have said it’s lovely there.
All we need now is the Black Horse to reopen then we’ll have everything we need in Hellified.
On Friday night there’s a meeting at the village hall about opening it as a community run pub. Lots of villagers are interested in helping and some giving substantial amounts of money.
I’m trying to stay up till 9 o’clock but my eyes are struggling to stay open even though I had a wee nap after lunch.
Thanks for all the lovely comments, stars and hearts.
Goodnight :-)X
