Orkney curd

The cheese curd has been broke up, mixed with salt and placed in the pressing mould. Immediately I realise that I should have started with 4litres of milk, not just 2. I thought I would have enough curd from 2l but it’s only half filling the mould, and it hasn’t been pressed yet.  I will continue with it and see what I get!
I finally inspired the beehives, and as expected two of them have advanced swarm preparations. They were quite annoyed and poor Rob got stung again….he will not want to help me unless there’s some honey to be had! The honey is on the way, but none quite ready to harvest yet. We found one of the queens, but she was not my marked one so I’m not sure why they had queen cells if she was newly hatched, and she’s certainly laying as there were eggs in the cells. She’s been moved to a new hive, and I will see what occurs in her old home in a couple of days. It’s all very puzzling!
