Smell of summer

This morning I made a start on my latest hotel order (wash, shampoo and conditioner for one  and aroma oils for the new one). 

Then it was in to Penicuik to go to the bank and then over to Newbridge to take my broken car keys to the garage to take a look at. Annoyingly, I must've only picked up one of them, but they fixed that one - or so they think. I'm pretty sure it'll fall apart again soon enough just like they've done once already. 

I took a quick walk up into the hills when I got back, the gorse smells heavenly just now. I was noisily accompanied by feathery friends mostly skylarks, meadow pipits, wheatears, stonechats and curlews. 

My new phone has arrived, as has the ugliest case I've ever seen, but will have to look at that tomorrow now.
