Have Camera Will Travel

Memory lane.

Today’s adventure was a trip down memory lane for Mr PC. Who was born and raised in Malvern.
We start with a walk up the Malvern hills to the Worcestershire Beacon (we took the easiest route) it was still a bit of a climb, the views were spectacular even although it was quite hazy today. Coming down is always a lot easier.
Our next stop was one of his late Mum’s favourite eating places the “Blue Bell Inn” where we stopped for lunch, the sun came out and it was very pleasant in the beer garden.
Next a drive past the snooker hall of his misspent youth and he pointed out a few of his drinking holes.
We then drive along the street to take a look at his childhood home and the estate belonging to the Perrins the famous Worcester sauce family where his father worked as a the gardener,
We leave Malvern feeling very nostalgic and head back to our holiday cottage stopping on our way at one of the many farm shops to buy fresh asparagus and our first English strawberries.
Tea sorted.
