Tom's Treat
On a family holiday in the Alentejo eleven years ago, we first visited this unassuming roadside restaurant (how do I know? my Blip journal, here!), and have been back several times, but Tom had never been, so today we booked lunch there, on the way home, and the mirandesa steaks lived up to their reputation.
Extra: thirty storks helping with the recycling at Beja, as we drove past.
Gratefuls:
- good wander along the ria and the sea before we left Faro island
- Mike driving us safely home, and the girls sleeping most of the way
- reading to Eden in the hammock
