Better day

Started with BP and then quickly home to drop car off at the garage - new brakes needed apparently?  I snapped this quick picture in the workshop showing the original Forge before being turned into a garage.  Sadly being sold to make way for two houses - something to do with grandfather rights of the garage and not being able to sell as a going concern.  Shame - have to find a new garage and I am sure the next one wont be in walking distance?

I had a lot of pottering around today - finished bits of sewing and fiddling around.  I have decided that I will do a Christmas Fair of all my bits and pieces that I make - in aid of Maggies.  As I have said before - I enjoy the making but need an outlet!  

OH home from golf match (they lost) and I had a quick unappetising dinner before heading off to Book Club - first time I have been - not sure it will be for me but will go a few times to find out?

Day done - ending with a message from my sister to check I was ok?  I was tempted to send her the narrative from yesterday's blip to explain but this would really hurt her feelings and I have moved on from yesterday - let sleeping dogs do what they do best?
