Prague Main Station

I do love a station.

Izzy and Nate had a six hour journey to Kraków ahead of them, setting off just after ten, this morning, followed by a further eighteen hours of train journeys to get them back to Kyiv.

We met them for breakfast in a gorgeous, high-ceilinged café situated on one of the platforms. When I went out to take today's photo, I saw a driver cleaning the windscreen of his train (see Extra). Not sure you'd see that in the UK.

Once we'd seen Izzy and Nate safely on their way, we checked out of the hotel and made our way down to the river for a couple of lunchtime drinks with our books, before finding a Mexican restaurant for lunch. 

And after that, we began the journey home. Not quite such an epic journey as Izzy and Nate have!
