Prestwich Forest Park

I might have mentioned this before, but Charlie, Hannah, Milly and I are doing the Manchester 10k in a couple of weeks. Hannah is going to run for a time, and has been training accordingly. 

This morning, her training plan called for an eight mile run, so we took ourselves out to Prestwich Forest Park and then back along the Irwell. 

And in the afternoon, we said au revoir to the Minx and headed up to see Dan and Abi, the latter having come home for the weekend to see her brother. 

Inevitably then, we all went out for a curry in the evening, followed by drinks in the King's Arms, which was slightly less great than usual as they were adorning the walls with flags for the VE Day anniversary.
