Glasson Dock

After a leisurely start to the day, we drove Hannah down to Lancaster Station to catch the train back to Salford. While we were there, we bumped into Cathy and Pete on their way home from Manchester, where Pete had won 'Best Pantomime Villain, North West'! (See my post from December the 6th, last year.)

After that, Dan, Abi, and I drove over to Glasson Dock for lunch at the Dalton Arms (v good). I think it's the first time that I've been when the tide has been out.

Abi set off back to Sheffield in the afternoon, so I made a chilli for me and Dan, after which we strolled down into Kirkby for beers at the Royal Barn and then the Snooty Fox. It's so lovely to have him home and on really fine form, too. 

PS Just noticed we were at Glasson Dock exactly a year ago, too.
