Fountain, Albert Bentley Place

I worked from home this morning, just to be around the house with Dan, and headed back to Salford in the late afternoon as I had a cinema date with the Minx. 

I met Hannah for a quick drink in the bar at The Everyman beforehand as she had her annual review, this afternoon, which went well. 

Then the Minx and I watched 'One To One: John And Yoko'. It was quite an extraordinary insight into New York and, indeed, America in the early seventies. What a very weird country it is. 

And while I found some of Lennon's proclamations a little naive and some of his associates pretty irritating, at least at first, in the end, they were absolutely right.
