Caterpillars

No flowers today :-)

Walking along a narrow footpath this morning I saw that the hedges were covered in miles of web like structures - and closer examination revealed the presence of these little caterpillars. Thousands of them all munching away at the leaves. A different group of them in extras today.

I believe that these are small ermine moth caterpillars.

More work in the garden this afternoon…yards and yards of bindweed extracted..I really hate the stuff..it is such a thug.
