The presentation

Mrs.TT kindly took this photo for me as I was involved in a tennis tournament. After the VE day event outside the Mairie there was a presentation for the contribution to the village made by our tennis club president who is well into her 80s but still very active. She has been a counsellor, club president and done a lot of local service over more than 50 years, so this week she has been wined and dined and today there were speeches and a special presentation from the Maire. I won two of my four matches at the tournament. I was a little frustrated to lose to someone who I have always beaten and another player whose game I find very awkward. it was a great day with a meal provided and aperitifs at the end of the day. They are a very bunch at the local town club and I always enjoy playing there.
