Marcevol

Our walk today took us from the village of.Arboussols to the priory of Marçevol via the Roc de Maure. It was a lovely walk of 10 kilometres and 320 metres of ascent. There were any number of wildflowers and the scents of the lavender and thyme were in the air a lot of the time. We extended the walk a little bit climbing up to the Roc de Maure. Just two of us went to the top as It required a hands-on climb up the boulders. There were just six of us this week. That is a good number as we could easily agree on varying the route and it was very sociable. Larger numbers can become like herding cats!
