VE Day

A much better day for Richard. Helped by not having dialysis today.

I’ve chosen the VE commemoration today as Richard was born 9 months to the day after VE Day. He claims to be one of the first Baby Boomers and will be 80 on February 8th next year. His birth father was a Canadian Airforce pilot based in Lincoln and his birth mother worked in the NAAFI. Unfortunately his father was denied permission to marry and returned home and his mother had to give him up for adoption.
