Under Wraps!

The cardinals, shrouded from public view in their conclave, elected a new Pope today, and the faithful waited in excited anticipation to find out who would be the next head of the Catholic church. 
In the garden the first popies were also under wraps, waiting to recveal their true characters. Ths is a Californian poppy. Strange that both subjects have an American connection.
