New Book

The new book group book. Liking the first few pages and looking forward to seeing how the rest of it pans out. So many other books I want to read too and just not enough time. 

I managed to not work today (apart from a couple of hours first thing this morning). Instead I spent some time helping Sam sort out various bits of his life, went to the allotment and dug a bed for some planting then dashed home to get the train to meet Valerie in town. Met her and saw Ben (I can't believe they are both leaving the old team. If I end up going back it will be a very different beast) briefly. 
Got the train back home to dinner cooked by Sam and then dashed out again for the last of the light to finish digging and planting. Managed to get a row of asparagus in, hopefully can do the rest tomorrow. While I digged and planted Francis tried out his bike ready for Saturday. It's been a long time coming and now he's a little bit scared.
